MESSAGE BY H.E. ORHAN YALMAN OKAN

My dear Indian brothers and sisters,

I have learned with great pleasure about the establishment of the “Indo-Türkiye Friendship Association”. I would like to sincerely thank and congratulate all those involved in the establishment of this Association.

The establishment of such an association for the first time in Hyderabad, where we have such deep historical and cultural relations, is exciting. I am sure that many of our Indian friends will wish to become members of the Association and will gladly benefit from the opportunities offered by this Association.

We aim to further advance the relations between India and Türkiye, two ancient states, in every possible field and to further increase the interaction between our peoples.

The trade volume between our countries has already exceeded 12 billion USD as of 2023. Our governments have set the new target as 20 billion USD. Let’s join our hands and work even harder to achieve this goal.
